BB23 is catching on

Default What should i get....

The options are endless these days when it comes to getting inverts for your tank. However, i am in a conundrum right now whether to get a banded coral shrimp or a blood shrimp or possibly an eel-cleaner shrimp. Currently i have a peppermint shrimp (to keep the aiptasia down) and i don't know if any of these shrimp would fight it or not. And is the banded coral shrimp reef-safe? I have looked around and it kind of seems like the answer is ambiguous. BTW i' m putting this in a 12 gal jbj nanocube. I know they get pretty big so i dont know whether it would be a bad thing to keep in the tank or not, (perhaps it wouldnt get too big because of the confined space??). BASICALLY i'm not for sure what to get. Reccomendations on what to get would gladly be accepted.

thnx

The banded coral shrimp is reef-safe but pugnacious. The peppermint shrimp should be too fast for it to catch, but no promises. I've had a couple of BCHs,and enjoy their personalities. I'm not familiar with the other shrimp you mentioned.

If you go with Bloods you best get 5 or 6 as many as you cn fford or you won't see much of them..But if you have enough then they will roam all over the place lights or no lights

I would go with Bloods. As the BCS will hunt and any new invert you get. Like sexy shrimp or ghost shrimp could end up as a snack
