| what anemone should i buy hey looking for information on a speices of anemone that would suit my black maldavian clown fish |

| The chart works... But, I have had a maroon clown host in a bubble tip and a carpet anemone, so, take it with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary. 
You will hear stories of clowns who will host nothing but Xenia and other clowns that will host in just about every anemone they see.

| I've heard from a few places that tank raised clowns will host more easily than wild ones. I don't think I've ever seen a study of this, but I've heard more than a couple personal accounts.

| That chart is developed based on the anemones available to that specific type of clown fish in the wild. In captivity, that chart has been proven wrong. It really depends on the clownfish and whether it is wild caught or tank raised.

| finally bought anemone for clown i found a nice green bubble anemone which is about 6inches across the foot .
clown fish hasnt worked it out yet but is pretty cool addition to the tank  |
