| strange worms (?) in my tank... Well, I'm not exaclty sure, what I got there. I don't think it is bad, but I thought I'd ask...
I guess it is a worm, but I don't see the body. Some of them are in holes in rocks, others are kinda building tunnels by collecting aragonite pieces and somehow "glueing" them together to a tube on one of the rocks. The only thing I see of them is their arms. And they got lots of them. Maybe 20? I can't count. They seem completely independent from another, and they are long, probably about 3 or 4 inches. About as thick as the antennas of my CBS buch much more soft and flexible. They move pretty fast, looks like they are looking for food (well, what else could they do anyway). And they are white with some darker spots or stripes on them.
I tried to take a picture of them, but can't get anything together.
_________

| Re: strange worms (?) in my tank... well, so much about 4 inch arms... I think, 10 inches fits better. Amazing.
But my shrimp don't seem to care, they sit in a cave right next to a really big worm, with the arms of that thing all around them. |

I know there are some good pics or links on the board somewhere. I had to dig back 227 days to find that one though.
They are definitely strange. * |
