I have been pricing heaters lately cuz I do need one. would be nice to knock out 2 birds with one stone

I borrowed a friends voltmeter and we tested it, but I cant say we tested it properly.. I turned everything off, put the probes in and it was in the negative.. as we turned it on it would go up, but would stay in the Ma.. I have no idea what that means, but he said it was hardly any voltaged..
I have a penguin350, aquac with maxihet 1200, and a hydor koralia 1..

I feed regulary, but the LFS told me to cut back cuz my amonia was a little high.. I feed some kind of spectrum pellets supposed to be the best pellets around and mysis shrimp probably about every 3 days... do they need more??
Ahhh...ammonia - at 4 months your bio-filter may not be developed enough to handle the load you are putting on it. You may want to keep checking ammonia level regularly and not adding any more fish until it has been gone completely for a while.

Good Luck

nah, definitely wasnt a molt.. I pulled it out and checked..

Nothing wrong with it except a few missing legs which I suspect were the cause of the other crabs.. it smelled too

come to think of it.. i dont think I have ever seen a molt for any of my crabs.. my strawberry hawaiin has been in there since the beginning and he is still going strong. my peppermint has molted 3 times that I know of.

Omar, this water test was on my water change day so it could have been a little high due to that.. usually everything is perfect.

I see images in there...I couldnt tell ya :p

So you say the crabs are dead without the shell? Have you found the shells? Its possible they molted and something killed them when they were vulnerable?

BTW otty, you'll have to let me know when the tank is stable! I'm about 30min from the IN border We can have a lil frag swap, and I would love to see your tank!

the hermits are dead without the shells they usually carry.. the emerald was fine, except for being dead haha

I didnt think hermits would allow themselves to be THAT vulnerable.. usually they walk up to the shell they want and get into it, not get out of theirs and walk around the tank looking for a new one.

We'll do just PM me and we can go over details then.

Mario...
You check for stray voltage yet in the tank?????
You will probably have it if you are running powerheads.
