Hey all. I just got some new starfish. A double star and a Linki. Any advice on keeping them.

72 gal bowfront with Megaflow. Coralife superskimmer. Two 250W MH 10,000K. 1 Yellow tang, 1 false perc, 1 royal gramma, Midas Blenny and Three Newly aquired Banggai Cardinalfish. Crocea Clam. Button polyp, starburst, shroom, white bubble coral, Xenia, colt coral, Frog spawn, Montipora Capricornis Coral, Ricordea and a newly aquired Open Brain. Lettuce sea slug. Double star and Linki star.

I don't know too much about them, but I had a Linkia and he was hard to keep. Only was alive for a month or so then started to loose all of it's legs. Wish I could help you more!

If you want to keep starfish you must remember that they are EXTREMELY sensitive to salinty flucuations-slow and easy on acclimation and monitor carefully- if subjected to even fairly minor changes they can be consumed buy necrosis (not sure about the spelling on that one!) - basicly they will just melt away starting at the legs and finally completely rotting away- if you can manage that they will pretty much take care of themselves
