They are one of the best filter feeders known, those are great looking tunicates you have there!
I have to say im totally jealous, i only have a few and they are not a colony form like yours.
If you want it to survive you will as others have advised have to ensure a sufficient food source is available.
Tunicates in y opinion are one of natures most amazing vertebrates, there lifecycle is just astoundingly strange.
