Sigh - just filled up tank and saw a Xanthid Crab I just filled up my new 90 gal and put in all the LR and base rock. I noticed a nickel to quarter-sized crab wandering around and just ID'd it as a Xanthid Crab (not reefsafe according to Melev's Reef.
So now I have to figure out how to fish the guy out. Probably need to entice him with food to get him out of the rock. It will definitely be tough with all the nooks and crannies.
Sigh...I thought I was all set to get the tank going.
Oh, well, it'll just make it more fun I guess.
