| Rose anemone. I got a Rose anemone about a month ago, the second i placed it in my tank it stayed right where i put it, on a piece of dead coral and hasnt moved in a month, however the problem with the anemone is it does not get bulb tips now that i have more watts than before, i upgraded from VHOs 150 watts to a 40 gallon tank to now power compacts 192 watts, i feed it krill about 5 per week and also marine snow, i have no idea why wont it get bulb or anything similar its allways just huge and long tentacles. |

| That's a common occurence and I don't believe that anyone has come up with a reason for why that happens in our aquariums. The bubbles are not an indication of health so the anemone should be fine whether it has them or not. |

| Yes, I asked the same question a couple of months ago
Mine does the same thing. Sometimes it has beautiful tips and at other times it is long and stringy. Enjoy

| I actually think that if they are not bubbled and huge, it's a better sign that when they are bubbled. If I had to guess, they might inflate their bubbles for protection. When they are in a place where they feel they are under threat, like at pet shops. Mine was really bubbled when I purchased it. Put it in my tank, de-flated his tentacles and enlarged. I've yet to see him inflate his tentacles again. Seems very happy though, chose a nice spot and has two percula hosts.

| If I remember correctly, the one I have was kept for about 8 months to a year with no clown to host in it. Most of the time it had bubble tips. It wasn't until I put a clown in and it started hosting did I notice the long stringy effect.
Just an observation
