| Rock Worms ID Not sure if this is the right place to ask this... I have one rock in all my live rock that I noticed just recently, worms on. These worms only seem to come out at night. They are smooth and basically look like an earthworm (only thinner). The other unique feature of them is that they don't seem to come out of the rock. That is, one end remains in the rock, while the other end is out and wriggling around on the rock. I've seen 2 at most out at a time, and they are both about an inch to an inch and a half in length. Because they only come out at night it'd be hard to get a good picture to post. Does anyone have any thoughts about what they might be just from the description?

| I have these on my rock too. I used to think they were bristleworms (since they seem to have a bristly ''mouth'', but now that I've seen real bristle worms, I'm not quite sure what they are. I've seen them eat algae on the rocks so they can't be that bad. _________ Prevent dihydrogen monoxide contamination in your aquarium: www.dhmo.org |

| bristle worm or peanut worm. Google those in the images section.
Also, be more specific on the physical attributes of the specimen.
