Default Red Bali Losing arms

I have a red bali star, and a week ago he showed up missing an arm.. no big deal cuz hes healthy, figured one of the tank mates got hungry for a midnight snack or something.. but now, im seeing another of his arms "splitting" off.. apparently its happening on its own. Is this normal? My other red bali is fine but its a lot smaller. any ideas? thanks guys

by the way, he hasnt moved much from his position during this for the past four days, but he is alive.. im sad, i hope he isnt dying.

i had a bali star and it shared the same fate. after i did some reading i found out that we really don't know what the bali star eats. some say film algae others have no clue i suspect your star is dying.

Afraid so.

Dropping limbs (falling appart) is sure sign star is checking out.

Get what remains you can out of tank asap.

Sorry.
