I read someware that large water changes cause them to split, cant remember where. The theorie was that either the anemone stress and split in an atemp to safe the specie, or it feels that the enviorment is now good enough to support more anemones.

I just disected 2 yesterday if you take a very shapr knife and simple cut the anemone right in half directly through the mouth thats thje fastest was I like just halving them but the people here do 4 way cut I did it both ways the otherday But you kave to get a good sectiom of mouth on all quaters Through the mouth with a sharp implement But four pieces per slicing, is all Id try and thats depending on the size of the donor.
