Question Question about peanut worms
I have now came to a conclusion about my worms and their identification. I believe that that are peanut worms after comparing them on different taxonomy charts. My question to all of the live rock tank people is: Has anyone had any issues or problem due to these ugly nocturnal inverts?

I have never had any issues or problems with these types of worms. Other than hearing my wife complain about how ugly they are and wanting to remove them.

They are helpful to your ecosystem, as they eat detritus and algae. Won't bother anything. My kids think they are yuke

Other than cucumbers, peanut worms are the nastiest things I've seen in a reef tank. However, they are definately a useful hitchhiker.
