Just got him today from reefcleaners and it seems the fish are harassing him to be cleaned!

He wants nothing to do with them, should I take him out for a while or will it subside

Coral banded shrimp are not cleaners. If the fish you have listed in your signature is all you have they should leave it alone eventually.

I was going with the reef cleaners description... It doesn't matter to me if he cleans them, my anthia and foxface seem to think he should

Will they eventually leave him alone?

Yep just my female squareback anthia and foxface. I used to have a cleaner shrimp in there and they never wanted him to clean them.... Such pains

No symbiosis with my CBS and any tank mates.
Mine just eats up bristle worms, and the fish stay clear.. : )

It will subside and then your shrimp will be chasing them...

My little blue CBS I had cleaned my Diamond Watchman exclusively, apparently in exchange for living in his burrow with him.

Before we got our skunk cleaner, our Orange spotted goby would pester the peppermint shrimp (which is why we got the cleaner) LOL.

Speaking of peppermints, the other day I was adjusting a coral, and the largest peppermint came over & started cleaning my finger. I was shocked! I tried to get it to do it again, but it wouldn't. It was feeding time, so I guess it was just looking for a "hand" out!
