| New BTA I got my skimmer dialed in, and upgraded my lighting to a nice 48 watts (nano-cube) of 50/50 and the change is dramatic! This is one spoiled clown.... _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan...... |

| Re: New BTA What size Nano do you have?
What kind of BTA?
My husband just got in a 12 gl nano cube for his office. He wants a couple of clowns and an anemone. The green BTA that we have at home has gotten huge so we wondered if there was a BTA out there some where that would stay small enough for a nano.
Your clown looks pretty happy to me!

| Re: New BTA looking mighty fine! and the BTA losing it's bubbles is suppose to mean it's happy and good! nice.

I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong! |

| Re: New BTA Glad to see your clown likes the BTA! I think mine are tank bred as they seem to care less about the nice, big and healthy BTA in my tank. They would rather sleep against the sand in the corner

| Re: New BTA What are the names of the corals in your photos? The first one on the left is really interesting looking. I think we'll start setting up my husbands nano this weekend. He seems pretty excited about it.
GraviT, how long have your clowns and BTA been together? Didn't you just recently get the BTA? Hopefully they will eventually get together. I know it must be disappointing for them to not be hosting it. My clarki clown didn't even given mine a chance to settle in. As soon as the BTA went in the tank the clarki was in the middle of it wiggling back and forth. The BTA was just a baby but my clown was determined he was going to be in it even if his body was only able to be partially in it.

| Re: New BTA They are commonly reffered to as rock anemones or flower anemones, the Top right, left, and lower right are all rock anemones in the family Phymanthidae, species Id is sketchy. I have found all to be very hardy under 3-5 watts per gal. of pc's. The other is a very small type of carpet anemone...for now. RA are cheap and come in such diverse colors they dont look repetitive at all in the cube. |

| Re: New BTA Cindy, my BTA has been in the tank for about a month. I'm tempted to pick up another BTA and put it in the clown's corner to see if that sparks their interest.
More than likely, I'll probably just leave them be. I'm more concerned about killing the cyano in my tank at the moment before it kills all of my coral. |

unfortunatley only one of my clowns has taken to the anemone, the other has claimed the right hand side......they have started bickering and may be seperated soon. |
