My Turbo Snails not Eating Algea?

    I bought 3 turbo snails to help control the algea problem i am having right now until I figure out what is causing it and how to fix it and everything I read on them say they are awesome algea controlers and that they can take care of a bad algea problem fast but I neevr see mine eating algea. I see my margarita snails on algea patrol more often than my turbos. I have 3 of them. 2 very large and 1 small. It's a 33 gallon tank. It has been a week and the algea just isn't getting eaten much at all. What's up?

    That would depend on how long the algae is and what species the algae is.

    They don't like eating long algae. Tear the long stuff off and they will keep it down. My turbo snails keep my 55 gal almost completely clear of algae

    got 1 turbo he pretty much sat there and did nothing for the first week but after that basically cleaned all visible live rock and keeps it clean...you wouldn't need that many :)
