| my third anemone After the two previous disasters ( my second anemone ), I found a local gent that was kind enough to sell me a 3" rbta for 15 bucks. No more mail orders for this guy (well maybe corals). This one was a split of another that was in a local gents tank for months.
Anyways, tomorrow will be a week in my DT and the lil dude is doing smashingly. I've been feeding it a pea sized raw shrimp piece every 36 hours since the first day. It gobbles it up like a child with candy. Things are looking up
I'm curious how long it's taken your clowns to host a new anemone. If this applies to you please share the anemone and clownfish type along with a timeframe I haven't had any success with that yet, hopefully in the next few weeks they'll figure out what's down there
EZ all
PS: pics coming 2nite. |

| yeah, he made it a week Crawled itself back into a crevace about 1cm wide and started to melt. I got a refund from F&S for it, couldn't bare to watch another die.
This morning I woke up to a powerhead on the substrate, so this guys rock was built up with a wall of aragonite on the right side of the the rock. The anemone was not covered thankfully!
I moved it up about 1/2 way up the tank and remounted the pump, after cleaning the suction cups and the glass What a morning Hopefully it will be happy where I placed it, he hasn't moved out of the rock he was on when I purchased em' Time will tell, hopefully those dang clowns will pay him a visit too

| I have 2 pair of maroons, both jumped into their anemones immediately. (One of them has a long tentacle and the others have a bubble tip) I have 2 pair of Clarkii clowns, both jumped into their anemones immediately. (One has a bubble tip, and the others have a carpet) I have a pair of saddlebacks, they jumped into their anemone immediately and it is a Rose anemone. I have 4 pair of occellaris, and they have still not hosted, its been over two months and 3 of them have BTAs and 1 had a carpet. I gave the carpet to the clarkiis after about a month and a half. I have 4 pair of A. Percula, but only have one pair with an anemone and it hasn't hosted yet, its been over a month, it is with a BTA.
PS. One pair of A. Frenatus (tomato) no anemone.
Hope that helps. GL2Y

| After the fiasco with teh powerhead yesterday the anemone went out the bottom hole of the rock it was on and is hiding under it. Pretty sure he's a little stressed out from the incident yesterday.
Thanks for the karma and good wishes ! |
