my tank has crabs =\

over the last few days i seem to have lost a couple of green chromis 3 in total i know theres a crab in the tank and it never did any damage till recently how ever there is to much rock that im just not gonna move to chase the crab for.

so my questions are

is there an easy way i can bait the crab with out catchin the fish?

im kinda hoping he gets to big to get out of the hole hes in and staves muahahahahaa

but really he needs to be removed somehow

I would just take the time and pull out the rock... I know that is gonna suck been there myself but a crab is gonna be hard to trap any other way. I have trapped nusiance fish befor but a crab is going to be tricky.

They sell traps for crabs. Its so easy to catch them, just get a small trap and bait it with a piece of a silverside and wait. Luna

i really really dont want to remove the rocks beacuse i got em perfect and i know if i do, they will never be the same again
i also dont wana spend any money on a trap because i will only use it once seems like a bit of a waste

any DIY ideas?

A trap is the best thing to remove the crab in my opinion. Sometimes you will be lucky in your first attempt, often times, it will take more than a few times though!
