Default Molted over night?

I bought a coral banded shrimp yesterday evening. acclimated him for about two hours and put him in. This morning i saw what i thought was him, dead, in the corner. I was a lil' upset, but as I was fishing out the carcass I saw him climb over from back of rocks. I was happy, obviously. I didn't know they could molt that fast. I didn't see any signs of molting at LFS. and everything i read says while molting they'll hide out for 2 or 3 days, this one didn't try to hide at all. I didn't know they molt everything long tentacles and all. and the carcass didn't look faded or anything it looks like a dead shrimp.

I also picked up an orange gorgonian, and 10 more lbs of LR. I'll post pics later this afternoon.

First time I saw my shrimp molt I thought the same thing. He should be just fine but they do usually try and hide for a couple days after a molt.

My CB's seem to molt far more often then other shrimp...

Amazing to see them lose a claw leg...then there it is again right after next molt.

isn't it? i though mine was all done cooking after losing both claws, then i saw the molt, said "yup, that'll about wrap it up for him" and the next day he comes out looking all shiny and new with two new claws last thing i ever expected,, this just reminded me that once a long long time ago i lost an iguana in my bedroom,2 whole years later i look out the window and there he is hanging on the screen!

I thought the same thing with my CB. The LFS told me that molting is a sign of a healthy tank. My CB molted overnight pretty often compared the my hermits. He was also meaner than satan's spawn so I took him back for a few bucks credit.
