  | Missing Pepermint shrimp. I hadn't seen the peppermint shrimp for a while and cannot find any remains in the tank. Is it possible the seabe anemone had it for dinner? Everybody else seems to be doing fine. Just LOST the shrimp. I thnk it was a retallitary strike from the anemone since the shrimp would move it around.

| As stated below, they do love to hide real good, give it a couple more days before you have the funeral. Also, what kind of fish do you have, you may have a shrimp eating fish and not know it. Was it a single or did you have two of them. If you have/had a pair, when mating they like to hide. If indeed he died, sorry for your loss. _________ 9YR OLD 90G/55g custom sump/refug Mag18 Aquac 180skimmer 692w MH AC jr,yel&kole tang, midas&convict blenny,B&G chromies,Blk/yel fin chromie blackcap, nemo, neon goby,6line; Blastomussa Merleti,Acan ,BUBBLE,Torch,LTA, Acropora(2) Moon, assort zoas, yel& G star polyps, P&B ricordia, montiporas, cup&candy corals, xenias,B/G mush, flower ane(2), cherry red mussa, dusters, cleaning crew.. |

| After my shrimp molts, it goes deep inside of the rock (for protection) while its new shell is hardening. Hopefully your shrimp will appear again soon. Kas |

| Do you by any chance have any hitch-hiking mantis shrimps in your tanks?
My black mithrax vanished about two weeks ago and i suspect it's one of my mantids.
Troublesome little blighters at times. |

| Has been about a month...but I just spotted one of my "missing" peppermints.
They can be very elusive. |

  | There does not seem to be any hitchhikers in the tank. I think it is just a goner and it might be time for me to bring in the reverand to give last rights and have the funeral |
