So I havent seen my cleaner shrimp in two days! He went missing before, but i ended up finding him in the live rock he was molting... This time i cant find him at all, and didnt even come out for feeding...

The only other things i have in my tank, is a starry blenny, zoas, leather, and a condy anemone..

Think it could have been the condy?

I have seen no trace of the body:cry:

I had a rock anemone eat a cleaner shrimp once. It eventually spit the shell out. Hopefully he's just hiding out.

I thought I had lost my favorite one that would clean my hands while working on the tank. I found his shell a week later and thought all was lost. Then a couple weeks later I saw him hanging out at twice his size.

I wouldn't give up hope till you see the body.

Never give up until you see the body. Sorry to say though that they don't go into hiding very much. How long have you had the shrimp? Could have moulted and is afraid to come out.

    +1 to ^^^

OTOH, I've lost a cleaner and a coral banded shrimp to the same condy nem. Guess the shrimp were too stupid to know better. :-/

i was thinking it molted and is waiting for the shell to harden up. He hopefully has denned himself up somewhere and you will see him in a couple days.
