| Long Tentacled Anemone and Maroon Clown Just purchased two tank raised maroon clownfish today and a long tentacled anemone, I was thinking it would take weeks for the clowns to recognize the anemone, well I just noticed one of them is chilling in it and the other is hovering pretty close, I'm pretty excited.
The LTA is in kind of a crappy placement though, will it roam around or should I try and place it where I want it? |

| Hey! Good luck! I've also acquired a long tentacle. It took my paired clowns 3 days to recognize it and immunize! Now, they love it ... |

| If you have any powerheads in the tank you may want to place a fine mesh around the intake part just in case it roams around there.
Just a suggestion. |

| You can never move an anemone to a particular spot that YOU like! The anemone will always move on its own to seek the best location to its liking.
Nice pick up regarding the anemone and the paired Maroon Clowns!
I too recently purchased a breeding pair of Maroon Clown!!! The male is a white stripe while the much larger female is a gold stripe! I am debating over the idea of getting the anemone(long tip) that they were in at the pet shop, however I am hesitant as I don't have the best lighting on the 75gallon tank(4x96 watt power compacts)! I will take a picture of the two (Bonny and Clyde) when I get the chance! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
