find something to sit on top of the tank under your lights that covers just the back of your tank, it'll make him move towards the light at the front of the tank

I dont recommend this if you have any other corals taht would be in that dark area though

and my perc clowns took almost 5 months before they began hosting, sometimes they never host in the anenome and opt for a coral or an overflow instead

Yes thats right - put the ice in like a sandwich bag and place it on the foot - he should retract and unattach himself. I doubt a power head will work - he'll just like the flow even more

Cuttingras/Tangster/coral reefer may know so better ways

just give him a while, he'll move, i know the feeling, my rock anemone is well hidden in the back of my tank as well. he started right in front in plain sight for a few weeks then disappeared too, oh well, what ever keeps them happy and ALIVE, just leave him alone, and wait it out

+1! I really do think you should just let him be - if your unhappy with not being able to see him, you should move the rocks out of the way instead - but remember that your aquarium is their home!!!!
