i just got a new long tentacle anenome and it was nice and bit i put it in my tank and pulled all of his tentacles in after like 5min is this normal or what could it be

If you just added it, it's going to need time to acclimate to it's new home. It will find a place that suits it first and then hopefully it will be happy.

my lights went out only the moon light is on and now it pulled its tentacles right in right when they were fully out

Hopefully, you acclimated it slowly! Many times introduce livestock will not look as healthy and alive for a period of sometimes weeks, till it adjusts and its stress level is reduced.
Continue to monitor the anemone's progress. Check water parameters and also, what kind of lighting do you have?

he is now doing great he is like he looked at the store im no longered worryed he seems to be doing well im hoping that i can now get the clown to host it
