long spine pooping?

i have a long spine urchin. i has told that in the center it had an orange eye. is this true? my wife and kids are saying things are coming out of it. they look like white balls or snail eggs. what is going on and whats the truth?

 

It is pooping, not sure on the eye though.

 

LOl .... Ok the orange "eye" is realy his anus to put it bluntly. the reason if i remember correctly is the Orange "eye" is to help ward off Other fishes that may eat it in the wild. So things that may fall out of the "eye" is completly normal.
