Loads of Micro Feather dusters

I wonder if anything eats them, I have lots of them speckeled all over the glass and when I scape them off more are there in a few days LoL. Anyone know if I could scrape some of them off and make them into a manner of food for my fish? Just a thought.

I have a ton on the back of my tank, I figure they just help filtering the tank for me.

They are a good sign and will probably wane in time. They are colonial feather dusters and can spread quickly. Don't be so quick to get rid of them.

Oh no I am not getting rid of them, I just scrape my front glass and they seem to be all over it =P was wondering if I could make use of the "scrapings"
They seem to be all over my rocks and on my plants too, can never seem to find enough room. =D
I was just curious about them =P

I had the same problem for a few months when I got my nano going. They will stop spreading pretty soon. They have a new tank rush for some reason. Like most stuff, the extra nutience gets them going.

Likewise, mine were all over the place when I first started my tank and now they're only in the spots were I don't clean with my Mag-Float...

yeah my tank has gone through a variety of invert invasions, from little tube worms to some feather dusters to aptasia . As for the food question, I think the fish would have plucked them off the glass already if they wanted to eat them.
