depends on the type of anenome. I have a tube anenome that can survive under a flashlight. For most I would say MH or T5

I would say no less than 5 watts per gallon for most anemones. I don't really like to use this as a guide as their are many other factors in determining the success of you tank livestock!
For instance, you could have 6watts per gallon of light, but have alot of DOM suspended in your water column and a glass top on your tank. Both of these just dropped your PAR to your livestock below!!!!!
Just make sure other variables are in check when deciding on an anemone and its long term success in your tank!

Oh yes, one more thing! I would read up on the many anemone's out their and their husbandry needs and hardiness plus may of them come with the ability to move alot and if you have corals/powerheads, inlet hoses to a sump or refugium etc., it could prove detrimental to one or more of your inhabitants!

flourecent lamps is good for them moon light compine with white light or sun light 8 to 10 houre daily whene youre anemone turn color to brownsh mean sign of exces light 1 watt per 2 liter i do my tank is great.

The brownish color in corals and anemones' is due to the chloroplasts in the symbiotic zooxanthellae host. If the zooxanthellae is not there, the coral or anemone will more than likely die! Excess light more often than not is a sign of bleaching since the zooxanthellae has been dispelled/left the coral/anemone tissue as a last ditch effort for survival. If the anemone has a brownish color to its tissue, it should be healthy...but their is more to it than that! Expansion, nematocysts in the tentacles able to adhere to food etc.,and good tissue development are also crucial to an anemone's success!

+1 on what coral reefer says. Anemones are not easy to maintain, their very intresting and they do demand knowledge. Make sure you read up on what anemone you whant and can handle, and also on the foods you gotta feed, the current they demand, and their increidable and anoying ability to move around the tank until its in a suitable position.

its a 65 gallon rectangle tank
