Default Killer Condylactis

Ok well this might be a big DUH to the old salts out there but I guess I didn't know what I was getting myself into with the Condylactis. I doubled in size in three months. I keep it under T-5HO light and feed it NLS pellets every 3 days. It has turned out to be a real terror for anything that happened to bumble into. In 3 months it has killed 2 nassrasius snails, 2 dwarf hermit, a sand sifting star and just last night my blue damsel! I actually saw the star bumble into it. Then the star sprinted faster than I have ever seen a star move across the tank dragging it stung leg. It died a day later. Just a couple of days ago I didn't see the damsel swimming around. The next morning I saw the damsel lying on the sand when I walked up to the tank to get a closer look but the fish TIRED to swim of but it was like one side of it body was paralyzed!! I died later that day. I know the Condy is only doing what is naturally to it but I wasn't aware that these thing were so capable. I thought I would warn my fellow 3Reefers.
Has anyone had this problem with BTAs?

BTA's aren't as potent, hence the reef safe label. Cony's are no where near reef safe. Sorry for your losses.
