Question jellyfish ??

ive seen a few custom tanks online that have jellyfish in them, does anyone have any experience or know someone whos had them. id really love to have one or two of them, if possible. unlike the sea snake which was a joke of course

Yes, jellyfish are interesting, and if you want some that's cool, but I bet you could DIY a setup (AKA buy one from craigslist or something like that) for a lot less than what those people are selling their setups for.

If you want to give it a trial run ReefScavengers has little upside down jellyfish. Of course you'll have to do your research on them. They may or may not do well in a system you already have instead of buying a new setup.

that would be pretty cool, i like the moon jellies cause they dont seem to require much in the way of fancy equiptment, plus they look cool. i dont think i could have him in any tank i have now though, they need a whole different set up for the filter so they dont get sucked in and all. i just like how majestic they are to watch, it would be a cool tank to have in the wall in the bedroom, very relaxing

That is interesting but did you see the prices? Are they crazy? Over $15,000.00 for a set up for jelly fishes. Yeah Right!

yeah no joke, they are crazy priced, but a 2-3 inch moon is only $35, ill just do up my own tank, im sure i could figure a good way to do it
