Is there a kind of shrimp that will breed in a marine tank?

Some shrimp can be timid when it comes to fish...i know that my guys usually clean the blenny...but that's because he is usually just sitting minding his own business...i do sometimes see them cleaning the wrasse...maybe its payment so he doesn't eat them.

My peppermint shrimp constantly pesters my anemones, causing them to shrink up. Also at feeding time, he steals the food I place on my ricordeas and caulastrea. He is neat to watch but quite a pest too. He does like to clean my green chromis, when they let him he'll jump right on the fish as he swims.

howdy y'all!! welcome to the reef rodeo!!!

on a serious note, thank you everyone for your responses. after all of this feedback i think i am leaning towards a pacific scarlet cleaner shrimp, AKA skunk cleaner shrimp (lysmata amboinensis). i like the idea that the shrimp will stay (for the most part) in view and not hide from sight during the day. thanks again.

This is a problem with all cleaner shrimp in general. Peppermints may attack anemonies, er, polyps in general(seen it tons of times), they all (cleaners) steal food from your corals. They'll even pull it out of corals stomaches! The best would be the Petersons shrimp, or Sexy shrimp IMO.
