I had my best success adding more current as I noted they tend to hang out in dead spots. It is said some wrasses will eat them however my six-line did not seem to much. Do a search for hydroids as there are some posts on the invert board about them. Good luck!

If they are hydroid medusas (jellyfish), then adding more current works well.

If you have colonial hydroids, I make a thick Kalk paste and smear it on the colony. Depending on the size of the colony, you might not be able to treat the whole thing in one day as Kalk will raise the pH level.
