| How about a good experience? So since I've seen a few comments on people's bad experiences with buying from stores, I figured I'd balance it out with my good experience. Recently I ordered a cleaning crew from Sea Life, Inc.
Ordered , Received
15 blue leg hermits , 18
10 astrea snails , 12
1 common serpent star , 1 (beautiful) common serpent star
10 nerite snails , 11 nerite snails
1 oddball ricordea , 2 purple/green ricordeas
They all went into my 55 gallon reef tank and everyone's doing great (of course the starfish had to crawl under a rock and won't come out, but I expected that). The cleaner shrimp is happy, guess he figures more for him to clean.
I'll try to upload some photos later. Just wanted to share a good experience, I always believe in telling about a place if they've done their job well and flagging them if not.

| I have to say that I've never had a bad experience at a fish store but I've always gone to the store well educated. All of my local fish stores are pretty darned good at figuring out what's good for whom but maybe I'm lucky? |

| OK, I think I've fooled around with photo editor enough to get this. Warning: I'm not the world's best picture taker when it comes to SW. For some reason the reef tank and I don't always see eye to eye when the camera comes out. Maybe it's camera shy?
My bigger ricordea
some of the astrea snails and blue legs
even though it's not from this order I had to show my first coral:
my CB, with the chromi at the top
and of course, the guardian of th 10 gallon FW
Hope these came out okay. My first time resizing anything. (Ahhh, trial and error with photo editor, gotta love it)
Sorry, the starfish wasn't feeling like being a celebrity. It preferred to camp out under a rock so no photos of it. |
