| Re: hermit crab The S. Pacific varieties are becoming more readily available, but some will still have a hard time finding them. The Caribbean ones other then the commons, are fairly hard to find. We're starting to majorly import hermits from Bali, a few left claw type and a cousin of the blue leg. The Mexican ones aren't imported, other then then dwarf, which is ALL over the place. We'll resume shipping the other Mexican varieties most likely next month. Watch for some articles on Caulerpa eating Mexican hermits, they're in the works as we speak They consume most types of macro, but REALLY love the feather/bladed types and racemosa (bubblle or grape caulerpa). An excellent way to rid yourself of a caulerpa infestation in your main tank. |
