| Re: Growing fast and getting hungry..... Most sea stars have extremely undeveloped brains (probably limited to hunting/feeding, fight/flight and mating but I'm guessing). *They also have sight and hearing but these senses are weak. * |

| Re: Growing fast and getting hungry..... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RA's....not apatasia or pests!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got back to the thread. I do keep them well fed as you may have read (jk). Major misunderstanding here......should have given a genus. THe clown goby is a perching fish (sits on acro. in the wild, and the shrimps are absolutley defenseless to the grip of the anemone. and for reiple i work @ the LFS in my area....how else could i support my infatuation _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan...... |

| Re: Growing fast and getting hungry..... Those are rock anemones? I thought wrong then (I was thinking of mojano and aiptasias?) they look pretty good. are they also light loving? I only had experience with carpet and bubble. It must be fun to be in a LFS. How do you handle people when they get irritating?
_________
I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong! |

| Re: Growing fast and getting hungry..... I usually just let then continue to be irritating (cant do too much) and feel sorry for thier fish. Working in the hobby is awesome for gaining knowledge and trouble shooting problems. More advice giving and trouble shooting than anything, but i enjoy it as it keeps me n my toes. |
