| Goby/Cleaner?
While clearly not as spectacular as living with a Pistol...my shrimp goby has somehow enticed my skunk cleaner shrimp to come live with it full time.
The cleaner now devotes all its attention to the goby and rarely comes out unless the fish does.
Ummm, guess I will be adding another skunk to tank population in near future, so other fish can enjoy a good cleaning now and then.
Must be love.
(actually I think the whole goby/shrimp thing is due to fact shrimp like goby poop) _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

The goby loves it...and I expect the shrimp does also...is one fish that will sit still for him, for long periods of time.
The crappy thing about it, is that I have 4 shrimp in tank and hardly ever get to see them.
The two harlequins stay holed up all the time unless they get hungry.
Have never seen the blood shrimp out in open. I only get a view of his antenna now and then which lets me know he is still present and accounted for.
Now the skunk is staying pretty much hidden away also! |
