found a 14 inch bristile worm in my tank

    Thats what I said lol There was another trying to get a chunk off food from my Fire cleaner shrimp but i couldnt get a vid of it.

    really i bet that hurt i havent touched one yet dont really want to, its tough to believe that thing is that big and i havent had the sand for more then 3 months

    what are you going to do with it? Keep it or get rid of it? From reading a few websites hobbists havent really concluded if they are good or bad. it went on to state that the smaller bristles worms are harmless though larger 12+ inches can pose a threat to inverts and some fish (on rare occasions).

    That is a cool and ugly thing lol..

    edit, no pun intended I am now a bristle worm (see underneath my user name) lol

    Good question I think that ill leave it till a invert ends up missing or "swimming with the fishes" lol

    I am just thinking someone in my tank must eat them. I have never seen one in the 150 since I set it up and I am kinda glad now. I had little ones in my 35 gallon but DANG! I would flip out if I saw one that big... creepy little sobs... kinda make you itch just looking at them...
