Feeding a carpet anemone?

My buddy wanted me to ask 3reefers about feeding his carpet anemone. We know what to feed, but, need to know how. It's not like a condy where you stick food in tentacles and it sucks it in. Do you add food directly inside mouth, shoot at tiny tentacles etc.? We have done some research,but, haven't found anything on actually feeding.

Shoot is such a strong word I would gently place the food in the anemone's tentacles.

+2 It will take take the food and guide it towards its mouth. I would also feed it sparingly, if you have adequate lighting for it.

i dont know if he meant "Put food in .50 caliber rifle and pull trigger", i think he meant put in dropper/ squeeze thing ad "shoot" in direction of anemone.....lol metaphors....what crazy things.....

Just toss small pieces of raw fish anywhere on the tentacles, and it will slowly fold up and move the food towards its mouth. They like to eat.... fishies.... dead or alive

i have fed mine twice, and just decided that my clown fish take car of it enough, so i dont have to, but i just got the good, and put it right on the edge of the carpet, and he just moves it to his mouth.
