Default Feed ripped anemone?

Well, as stated in this thread Well...this sucks! I accidentally ripped my anemone's foot in half. Its mouth goes right thru, as in if I stuck my finger in it, my finger would pop out the other side, and its foot/body doesn't serve as a...stomach?...anymore. Anyways I know it's going to be fine, it's bounced back, but being in this state I can't imagine I should try to feed it? The food would go in one side and come right out the other! Or am I missing something? Should I try feeding it after all? Or give it time to heal, or split, or whatever it's going to do?

Give it time to heal. It can't spare the energy required to process food at the moment so until it grows a new mouth, don't feed it.

Yea I'm really still learning about anemone's and keeping them. It's turning out that the more I read, the more I realize BTA's are pretty hardy, under the right water and lighting conditions. I will just leave the guy alone until he figures out what to do about his foot. In the meantime he's doing well. Still not sure why he likes it in the back of the tank. Where he is is sort of shaded, and I don't think he's getting much light there, but maybe he is. He's returned to that place twice now and it sucks for me because it's not a good viewing site. But as long as he's alive, I guess I have no complaints.
