Matt, it doesn't just wither away in front of your eyes, it takes time. I would try Craig's solution, none the less. People have great success with juicing with solution, then coverring the bastards with super glue.

| Re: Die Aiptasia! Die!! The muriatic acid will burn the external tissue on contact and makes the need to stab them in the mouth and down into the body cavity less important. As they retract into the hole in the rock it inhabits, the hole becomes the "gas chamber" that becomes the tomb rather than a sanctuary.
I'll be interested to see if you get the same great results I have Matt. _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. http://www.3reef.com/uploads/1craig400.jpg |

Couple other smaller, "greenish" with red arms on back of another rock.

| | Guest | Re: Die Aiptasia! Die!! When I first set up my tank last year I had a really large one of these pesky things. When I injected it with about 1 cc of B-ionics alkality solution it shriveled up and died right there on the spot. I have another aiptasia and I am planning on doing the same thing to this one. Hopefully, it will work as well.
Also, the guy at my LFS said that he has ordered something called "Joe's Juice" which is specifically made for that purpose. He said he hasn't tried it but that he has heard good things about it. I told him that I would probably just use what worked for me the last time.
By the way, I just noticed that I have been demoted to a guest. This is probably because I was always signed in before I got a new computer and I didn't log in this time. I'll have to check on that.
Okay, I'm having a hard time getting this message sent. It is telling me my username already exists. I don't want to retype this so I'll be Leesa2 this time only. I'll sign in next time.

| Re: Die Aiptasia! Die!! I've heard good things about Joe's Juice as well. What is it priced at. $10 at Home Despot will get you enough muriatic acid to las three or four life times. |
