I'd stick with a standard CUC as I would still consider that tank a nano IMO (anything under 40 to me is a nano) I would use small hermits, maybe one large one like an electric blue but they are clumsy(mine knocks stuff over constantly, cool crab though) some nassarius snails, some astreas...add them slowly as needed till you find a balance,my CUC is in my sig for my 12 gallon and they doo good, my bicolor blenny also eats alot of algae off everything(even the astreas shells) and is one of the coolest fish I have ever watch(very active with a huge personality)
