Copepods and Amphipods

Reciently I noticed these small bugs swimming around in my tank.....all water per. are A+, and the few invertebrates I have in my tank are doing great....but lately there has been a white film on the top of my water...looks to be dead copepods...although there are still plenty alive and well swimming around my tank....is anyone familiar with what Im talking about? Should I be concerned?

Sounds like pods to me. Now that I have a mandarin, I wish I had more. They are harmless and feed on macro algae and other stuff.

The bugs are good, The film on the surface is probably mostly dust. Try to agitate the water surface with a powerhead or something. Too much film on the water's surface can impede good gas exchange.
