    well first you have to have a couple already obviously, if you don't have them you can buy supplement bottles of them, dont get actipods they are cold water and won't breed in your tank.

    sarcasm or not hes right, you need to feed them for them to live. they eat phytoplankton i think

    pro-tip: copepods need a safe haven to get them to really bloom, like a refugium or some stack of small rocks fish cant get into.

    And "feed them" is an entirely valid answer. What organism grows without being fed? *Shrug*

    LOL!!! Yep, just let em go and make sure they end up fed. I feed my corals something called Oyster Feast, which has 'thangs' ranging from 1 micron to 200 microns in it (ovaries and such). They will pick up the leftovers. Phytoplankton will work too.

    I planted Tigger pods in my fuge over a week or so ago....now have little white dots all over inside the fuge glass.....the Tigger pods looked red in the bottle...is this the same little dudes?? and do i need to ' feed them ' now as well?? fuge is 1/4 full macro algae
