Copepods?

Now that my LR has aged I've noticed really tiny white guys clinging to the glass. I've got them at home too, but never really thought about what they were. They are about the size of a period and move in really short "jumps" maybe 1/16". I'm assuming they are some sort of shrimp type of critter. Any other ideas?

They probebly are copepods. A good sing that everything is going good.

For now everything seems to be cycling on schedule. It has been about 3 months and I'm through most of the green algae and into the red. There seems to be the start of coraline algae trying to break through in spots. I'm also seeing a few little worms in the garvel next to the glass.

whoa...I don't have any copepod things. I do have ALOT of dark green alge on rocks. alot of coraline going...and my Xenia, green star polyps, and green button polyps, are really growing out good. about 1/3 bigger than original. I've also got a couple of unknowns growing. 1 tube worm thing. Small, very white. but has a bristle worm end coming out every now and then. Also got a colony of clear tube things growing out of 1 rock.

Weird I say. Also have a aboundance (hehe) of bubble algea popping up.

no hair, no red alge... tank is looking real good for now...
