Default copapods
So how big do copapods get. is there a type of pod that get to the size of small rollie pollies?

The copepods that are commonly found in our tanks don't get that big. What you might be seeing are amphipods.

Not so. The smaller "mouthed" corals will benefit from the offspring of the larger "bugs"
