If they get along, I dont think there is any limit, but what if they dont? They will surely run out of territory.

yup, well if they do, there is plenty of room in one of the tanks in the lab...of ya i forgot to mention we got a small black tipped reef shark in the 900 gal...i know thats a bit small but...we are under alot of pressure from the school and parents...he is prettly small and plenty of room to turn around and swimm easily

Have you thought about pepermint shrimp? I've heard that they are particularly fun to watch in small groups. They are also a lot smaller than cleaners and will take up less room in the tank.

I have 2 Cleaner Shrimp, 2 Fire Shrimp, and a Peppermint Shrimp all living in perfect harmony. My 2 Cleaners stay on one side of the tank and the 2 Fire Shrimp stay on the other side of the tank though . The two of them always stay together in pairs though. They are awesome!!!!!
