 |  baby jelly fish
i just seen that a baby jellyfish is in my tank. don't know where it came from. i havn't added anything in 2 months. my question is. will it hurt anything and should i take it out. and how did it get in there.

Nah, if it is a baby jellyfish it wont hurt anything and will ( unfortunately ) die quite quickly or get eaten.
How did it get in there? Good question, and one of the marvels of having a marine tank, things seem to appear out of nowhere :-)

now there is a total of 4 in the tank. and everyone doesn't mess with them. do they multiply quickly? and does anyone know what they eat? | |

They eat decapsulated brine shrimp eggs, or 1-2 day old baby brine shrimp. Some species need to be spot fed or a lot of free floating food. Hove you added any new LR lately? | |

no i havn't added anything in 2 months and now there is 6. i tried to take a pic but they are so small you couldn't see them. i was just worried they might hurt my fish or something. they are pretty cool to watch swim around. i'll try to take a pic when they get bigger. | |

As your tank ages you will see more and more life appear that you have no idea where it came from. This is what makes it so intresting!
i just recently noticed baby brittle stars in my tank,and ive never had one and the tanks a year old! _________ 135g 3" SB 3- 400w MH, 2 65w PC actinic, 2 10K PC, 40g refugium, EV-180 PS ,Mag 18 ret,1700 PH,2 maxi 1200's air water and ice 5 stage RO/DI  | |
