I think for now I'm going to leave them be. If I see that they are growing on any other rocks then I'll blast em, but the ones on the leather's rock I'll leave.

Get a Australian Copper band Butterfly ( Chelmon rostratus) to take care of controlling the aptasias Its a pretty fish also

i make a paste of kalkwasser and squirt a dab on them.ever if they retract i put it where they retracted and when they open again their gonners.i've never seen one live through it.its funny seeing their melting peices floating away.i tried it on hydriods but it just slowed them down.

ziggy...I've got to try that but during the day so I can see what I'm doing and I need to find my squirter too

i used a siringe used for feeding babies medicine at the pharmacy.when baby won't take medicine you pinch nose till they open mouth and squirt the medicine in the mouth lol.the squirter has measurments on the side to measure the right amount of meds.anyway the opening is big enough to squirt a thick paste from that won't just drift away but will cover the aiptasia.

if you are certain it's the Australian variety fish and they are slim LOL I'm sure you'd be o.K with the addition.. All we have also eat flakes.. Not any corals ..
