| Another Brittle caught eating a Nass snail Well, You all remember me boasting about all my new inverts the other day. Well my new Green Brittle Star was caught in the act of eating my Nassarous Snail...(as you see I never wus good at spelling). I dropped in some Mysis Shrimp this morning and when my snails popped up the jerk pounced on one. He rolled him around for better than half an hour trying to extract the snail. He even had him pulled way out like an inch. Man I thought he was a gonner for sure but eventually he gave up and the snail made a break for it. I have pictures I will share. Its in my 55 gallon with me new VHO lights. Heavy actinics with these. I love the lights.
Heres the pics.

| Re: Another Brittle caught eating a Nass snail I agree, you should target feed that species of brittle star to avoid predation. They are not detriavores and will consume any meaty things they can catch. _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan...... |

| Re: Another Brittle caught eating a Nass snail I do target feed them I feed them each 1 krill or a baster full of mysis about 2 or 3 times a week. This one that is eating my nasso snail was a new star to me only 2 days when I snapped this pic.
