| anemone vs power head.... ouch my anemone had the good idea last night to go on a power head and got stuck into it really bad. now its all shrunk and it misses almost half its tentacles and its foot is damaged. my Question is will it grow back or is it doomed?
thanks! _________ http://www.3reef.com/forums/attachme...g?d=1105328873

| My experience has not been good. Same with nudibranch. Good luck, and if it does recover, you will have to make changes as it will findd power head again

| Don't count it out yet. Don't feed it anything while it tries to recover either as it will need all of its energy to rebuild so it can't spare any energy in order to digest solid foods. If you have phytoplankton, however, you can feed it a bit of that from time to time. Keep a good eye on it and if you see it starting to melt, pull it out and toss it. |

| It's hard to tell from that picture the extent of the damage but just keep an eye on it to see if it starts to dissolve. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! |
