Let's not be crazy now...ok, maybe a little...

Anyway, I won't let this keep me from using live rock! My mistake was trusting it as it came from one my local MAS members and not really looking it over very well.

And how does a 'taint fit into this?

Oh my.

Back to your majano - I agree with the chisel method. Since it's near the top you might be able to remove the rock without bringing the whole house of cards down.

I did this method with aiptasia - I used a hammer and a screw driver and whacked the corner of a rock off pretty easily.

GOOD LUCK!

Ok guys. I just got a sterile syringe (the thinnest needle ever). I think its the type they use for insulin. I was shocked at how easily i managed to get it. Just walked into a pharmacy and asked for it. Im gonna try stabbing it in the bottom of its stem tomorrow with some hot water. If that doesnt work, i will try the chisel method next. I really dont wanna take that rock out of the tank. Its one of the biggest ones in there. Wish me luck guys. I wont be able to sleep tonight since ill be thinking bout what i need to do tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the karma. Although im not really sure what karma mean yet on this forum

Well, im pretty sure that its dead. Its been shrivelled up since i injected it yesterday. What should i do now? Do i leave it in the tank, or am i supposed to take it out?

How do i take it out if im supposed to (without removing the rock unless i have to)?

Here is a pic to show you what it looks like...

After
