| You know, my bubble anemone did the same thing before kicking the bucket. I didn't understand why it wanted to hide. I thought these guys loved light, obviously he wanted to be in the shade.
What I think is that I moved him too much and he well, sorta got scared. He eventually died.

| Ok Ok. I see you have posted some pretty impressive parameters. I think your alk. (dKH) is a bit on the high side but thats all I see. The only other things I can think of is, how long have you had these animals and what do you feed them? Sometimes people try to feed carpets too large of pieces. They will take smaller stuff like mysis, etc. Anyone else?
Keep us informed so we can all learn.
Good luck _________ Glass 90 and 110, skimmer in both 30 gal. sumps, 1150 GPH, plus a 75 gal fuge!! | I have 4 skunk cleaner shrimp in my tank with a bubble tip anemone. The skunk cleaners always try to steal food from the anemone when I feed. I keep them separate so I can feed the tank easier. Can the skunks little claws harm the anemone? I noticed in one of the posts someone had these skunks too. You might want to separate the anemone from the skunks and see if the anemone will eat. Mine loves mysis shrimp - he's getting pretty big! |
